This week we will be beginning our short story unit.  I expect you to come to class prepared.  Remember that you are tardy if you are not in your seat when the bell rings.   

The Short Stories we will be reading and discussing this six weeks will be:

The Necklace

The Most Dangerous Game

The Scarlet Ibis

Thank you, M'am

The Cask of Amontillado

and perhaps some more, if time allows.

 

We will also be introduced to TAKS short answer questions and will learn how to answer these in an effective manner.
